Oakham Level Crossing Signal Box

Many years ago as a youngster I had a OO-gauge train set, which included an Airfix signal box. On this signal box was the nameplate "Oakham Level Crossing". I always wondered whether there was a real one there. Earlier this year I travelled through Oakham and took a look at the railway station. There at the level crossing was the identical signal box. As a mainly wooden structure I was amazed that it is still there and fully operational.
